How to setup Location Services and what are the features available under it?

Organisation Admin needs to go to -> Admin Tab -> Settings Tab -> "Location Services" enable the slide bar by sliding it to right -> ensure it is turned on. Employee then needs to go back to profile tab and then click on Mark Attendance on his/her mobile.

Can I see all employees on a Google Map if they are from different cities?

Yes absolutely! This is essential when you need to map live sales lead to a nearby field employee. Search for a city if you need from the top Search bar. You will see a Contact Card of the employee who has turned on his "GPS Locator" configuration on his device in mobile data on mode. To ensure you can see a Google Map; these 2 things are important

  1. The "Location Services" setting is NOT enabled at the Organisation level.
  2. Employees from the given city have turn on GPS Locator on their Mobile devices & are on mobile data turned on mode.

To see the employees on Google map- Go to Left Panel Folder list in your WorkApps Enterprise Chat Account ->Click on the "View Map" app -> search for a city.

Why can’t I see employees on Google Map? What are the pre-requisites?

The reason is that the "Location Services" setting is NOT enabled at the Organisation level. Only admin of the WorkApps Enterprise Account can do this. To enable this configuration, Organisation Admin needs to go to -> Admin Tab -> Settings Tab -> "Location Services" enable the slide bar by sliding it to right -> make sure it is turned on. Employee then needs to go back to profile tab and then click on Mark Attendance on his/her mobile.
