How do I read a Text Message’s Status?

Here is how you should read a status of the message in WorkApps Chat. There different icons used for the displaying the status:

  1. Timer - Sending is in the process to the server or the contact
  2. Closed Envelope – Message delivered
  3. Enveloper Opened – Message is read /opened

How do I check "Read Report" for a message in a group chat?

You can check the read report of the message only when you have sent it. To view a Read report of a message -> Go to the text/attachment message that you have sent -> Hover over it & a More Menu icon gets displayed -> Click on "Read Report" option -> an overlapping screen over the chat window will list down the contacts. Each one with the read or unread receipt of the message

Can I delete a message which is already read by recipient(s)?

Yes you can! To do that go to the chat window -> & when you hover over the sent message; a more menu option will appear -> Select "Delete" -> A confirmation for pop up "Are you sure you want to delete this message" with 3 options will appear -> first will be "Cancel" is to cancel the delete option and go back second will be "Delete for me" ; to delete the message only for you, it will be deleted from your window but will appear in all recipient’s window and a third option "Delete For Everyone" which will delete the message from all recipients’ window including yours.

Can I delete a message already delivered?

Yes you can!

You can check who is using which device in the WorkApps account. Go to Chat window of the contact -> On the top bar of the Contact’s chat window -> Look for devices -> 3 types of icons, each one reflects diff device.

Cloud with a Cross – User is NOT online on WorkApps

Mobile –User is using mobile device

Desktop – User is using laptop OR user is using both laptop and mobile both at the same time.

What is the meaning of a "monitor" icon on the contact’s chat window top bar?

It is the contact’s device being used now. User is using laptop OR both laptop & mobile both at the same time.

Where do I see a contact’s device, he is now using?

You can view about the user’s device information which he/she is using currently in the WorkApps account. Go to Chat window of the contact -> On the top bar of the Contact’s chat window -> Look for devices -> 3 types of icons, each one reflects diff device.

What is the meaning of an icon where "Cross" button on a cloud icon?

It is the contact’s device being used currently. In this case with "Cloud with a Cross" means currently the User is NOT online on WorkApps.

How can I add a custom status to my WorkApps enterprise Chat account profile?

To add a custom status other than the ones available in the list; Just click on the Status in the left panel -> On the top "Update your Status", enter the status you want to set to -> Press enter
